Rob shared on Scheananigans that Scheana was actually the “very first and only girl up until that point” who had ever rejected his date offer. After their initial split, they each felt like there was “unfinished business” between them. The twosome remained friends over the years, and they reconnected in 2017 following the Vanderpump Rules cast member’s divorce from Mike Shay. Robert Valletta Opens Up About His Split from Scheana Shay Rob then appeared on Season 6 of Vanderpump Rules, when he famously hung a TV in seven minutes (though he said on the podcast that he can actually do the task in six minutes), invited the cast to his cabin in Big Bear, showcased his boat driving skills, and talked about having a daughter named Madison Marie Parks-Valletta. The couple parted ways for the second and final time in the fall of 2017, and Scheana subsequently moved to Las Vegas to appear onstage in Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man. Five years after he initiated the breakup, Rob reflected on the demise of the relationship on the podcast. You’re dealing with someone who was immature emotionally, immature communication-wise, immature as a man,” Rob said about his actions in 2017. Rob said he has now done a lot of work on himself, including going to therapy, and he can now recognize some of the mistakes he made. “I can’t look back and change anything, I can just move forward and say, ‘OK, hey, like expect better,’” he added. Scheana said the split was very difficult for her at the time, but it was the reason she ended up auditioning for that stage show in Las Vegas. “I am very thankful to our time together, but also how abruptly and hurtful it ended, because, at the time, I was broken. It forced me to move to another state,” Scheana said, referring to her show in Nevada. “That job, to this day, is still one of the best things I’ve done in my life. ![]()
